Summary


The Strategy Associate is responsible for assisting DCM Campaign Strategists on assigned telemarketing and telefundraising campaigns. Ideally this role will lead to full Campaign Strategist status for the candidate. The Strategy Associate must be able to demonstrate aptitude for managing a campaign from inception to completion. This includes leading and participating in client and co-worker meetings, and prioritizing multiple projects and campaigns, and working with subordinates, colleagues and clients to ensure goals are achieved.


Prior experience with telemarketing/fundraising and performing arts/advocacy is a plus, but not mandatory. DCM is one of the world's leading telemarketing firms for Performing Arts Organizations. Clients include many of the Nation's top Symphonic Orchestras, Ballet Companies, and Theatres. Enthusiasm for the Performing Arts, and DCM's role in providing funding for these organizations will be key components of the successful candidate's tool kit.

Client Services Strategy Associate- Essential Duties of the Position:


• Assist Campaign Strategists on all aspects of telemarketing and telefundraising campaigns, including design, strategy and implementation
• Take a leadership role with scheduling, planning and leading client and team meetings
• Work collaboratively with the campaign team and all levels of management within and outside DCM
• Help with campaign tasks, projections, goals, budgets, scripting, messaging and reporting
• Support with campaign direction including client relations, customer service, employee management and motivation (for managers), strategic planning, and problem solving

Additional responsibilities as Campaign Strategist:

• Manage reporting and tracking of campaigns through DCM's proprietary software, CenterStage and ENCORE
• Communicate with client about DCM's lead data requirements and execution
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and campaign managers
• Analyze results and make strategic recommendations
• Ensure campaigns achieve DCM and Client goals
• Exceed client expectations and add value to the client's relationship with DCM
• When applicable travel to campaign sites throughout the year.
• Supervise 8-12 off site Campaign Managers
• Collaborate with NPACC Director and Management staff


Requirements:


• 2+ years of professional experience in this field, including knowledge of marketing and/or development, preferably with an arts organization
• Dependable and on time

• Extensive Word and Excel skills

• Superior analytical skills

• Willing to travel
• HS Diploma required; College degree preferred
